MARMURA

GRANIT

 TRAVERTIN

ENGLISH

MARBLE

Is the material most appreciated since antiquity for its multiple color options and ways to be used: sculptures, flooring and vertical tiles, mosaics, architectural elements (columns, arches, frames), grandiose buildings, etc.. In all major cities of the world finds its place in the great marble public spaces: squares, monumental building assemblies in the central areas and beyond, large public buildings and / or private: airports, railway stations, banks, restaurants, hotels, bars and cafes offices institutions and many more. Equally, private space offers endless possibilities for the use of marble: facades, stairs and access ways, framing, flooring and interior plywood, etc., in all these cases the architect’s imagination, accompanied by a good Pot to the last detail offering various categories of clients, unique rewards.

GRANITE

Material which in recent years has equaled and marble tends to exceed that use, because of multiple variants feature color and resistance to wear caused by traffic or weathering. Because of developments in technology in the last 10-15 years, the granite sold in the world have soared canceling the distance from the marble with several years ago because of the difficulties of extracting harvesters. Granite of characteristics above and equally wide variety of ways due to processing, glossy, semi-gloss, matte, Fiam, multidirectional etc. virtually no area that can not be used: – interior and exterior flooring in public and private spaces, including very-speed traffic, risers, handrails, frames, fireplaces – kitchen countertops, sinks, tables, bars …

TRAVERTINE

There are few things in the world that can alone represent millennia of history, art and everyday life, travertine is one of them. Around the world, travertine has established itself as a material made to leverage the ideas of architects and designers through the indissoluble link it creates between resources and the natural heritage related activities omului.Din Unfortunately, something already mentioned, in our travertine is seen as a second-hand material, less resistant to wear and weathering, some of us making a phobia of finding defects such material. In fact, travertine has features including physicochemical and mechanical enviable often marble top. According to outsiders about travertine goes like this: – not resistant: Collosseum it’s not been done in travertine? – Crack in winter: nowhere will you find travertine crack due to frost, but encounter many situations where whole facades and floors are ruined because of irresponsible installation done by amateurs. Therefore, we recommend the installation done by professionals, both in marble and travertine and granite. – Dirt: any material in the world show infection if in contact with dirt, dust, water and not cleaned on time. Give travertine holes so characteristic charm of this material and some of us less knowledgeable might be surprised to learn that in countries that are far ahead of us (USA, Canada, Italy, Germany) is used for floors and travertine tiles in spaces public without being stucco surface (grouting). I want to finally make some observations: – the above article did not intend to be exhaustive, the aim is simply to try to treat the subject with objectivity – always architects, designers, builders and / or direct users will use either ornamental rocks or on their artificial substitutes, it is important that the choice of options to make an informed choice – if you love ornamental rocks, pick them without reservation and you will not regret it, but remember that in any field, be the right choice rely on accurate and they are usually the preserve of specialists.
